What is Shelfie?
Shelfie is a South African web app for small shops: an online shop page your customers order from, a till, stock that updates on every sale, quotes, invoices and customer tabs.
Plans cost R199, R399 or R699 a month, with a 14-day free trial and no card needed. Shelfie takes 0% commission; on Growth and Pro, card payments go straight to your own iKhokha account. Customers who message your WhatsApp with MENU get your shop link.

Questions shops actually ask
Do my customers need to install anything?
No. They tap your link and order on your shop page in their phone's browser — nothing to download. Their invoice opens on screen straight away, with a PDF to keep. Customers who messaged your WhatsApp in the last 24 hours get the invoice link there too.
Where does the money go?
Straight to you. EFT goes to your own bank account. On Growth and Pro, card payments run through your own iKhokha account; Shelfie never holds your money, can't delay your payouts, and takes no commission on sales.
My customers pay by EFT — what about proof of payment?
Handled. Add your bank details once and every shop-page order's invoice shows them, with the reference to use. Your customer pays, uploads their proof of payment on the invoice page, and it waits for you to approve — no more digging through chats to check who paid what.
What if I already have a card machine?
Keep it. Shelfie's point of sale logs cash and card sales at the counter, and every sale updates your stock automatically.
Can my customers run a tab?
Yes — that's Tabs. Put a sale on a customer's tab at the till, set a limit per customer, and send gentle WhatsApp balance reminders to customers who opted in. No interest, no fees, ever — it's your book, digitised.
Does it work for a butchery / nursery / farm stall?
Yes — Shelfie is built for SA small shops: bakeries, butcheries, honey and bee suppliers, nurseries, farm stalls and spaza shops. Switch on only what fits your shop.
Can any shop sell from a Shelfie shop page?
Almost — but not quite. Your shop link travels on WhatsApp, and WhatsApp's own rules don't allow alcohol, tobacco and vapes, medicines, weapons or gambling to be sold through it, so those can't go on your shop page. Everything else in Shelfie still works for those shops: the till, stock, quotes and invoices, and Tabs. If you sell a bit of beer alongside everything else, mark those products restricted: they stay off your shop page and you sell the rest.
Can I cancel whenever I want?
Yes. Plans are month-to-month in rand. Cancel and you keep access until the end of the paid month.
